Supervised Detox

Before you are able to do start treatment, you’ll need to admit to yourself that you have a problem, you can’t control nor can overcome on your own. Once you have come to terms with your dependence, you will transition to our drug detox clinic for supervised withdrawal. To ensure that you can overcome this disease, you will be carefully monitored to ensure that the process is as safe, comfortable, and efficient as possible. Once your body has eliminated its physical dependence, you will transition into long-term treatment and various modes of therapy.

Long-term Therapy

After your body has gotten rid of its addiction, you will be treated in our McLean Institute addiction treatment center. First, you’ll meet with a personal counselor to create a customized treatment plan that is aimed at meeting every need of your complex and unique situation. This is done through a variety of techniques, but most importantly it considers dual diagnosis mental health treatment. Nearly half of all people with an addiction also have an underlying mental disorder that needs to be treated accordingly if you are to fully beat the addiction. Before we can effectively treat you, we need to identify and address any coexisting and exacerbating conditions.

Aftercare

When you go to leave our addiction treatment facility, you’ll need all the proper steps in place to make sure you are able to stay sober after treatment. To make this happen, we create a personalized aftercare plan that resembles your original treatment program. It will consist of similar therapies and meetings as well as new techniques and activities. No two people or addictions are the same, you need to create your own plan that works for you. If something isn’t working, your plan is comprehensive so you can alter it accordingly. When you leave McLean Institute, you will have the love, support, guidance, and resources you need to stay sober indefinitely.
